We Love Breast Implants, But This Wasn’t Right

Houston Cosmetic Surgery | Facial ProductsLike many people in Houston, we love breast implants and could discuss their benefits for hours.  However, we also realize there is a time and place for those discussions, and that 9/11 is not that time nor place.  Unfortunately, one morning talk show didn’t agree.

9/11 is not a regular day in America.  Many innocent people lost their lives on that fateful day in 2001, and it affected our entire country like very few things have done before it.  Therefore, it should be a day of remembrance, not a day of self-promotion.  There are 364 other days in a year to do that.  That’s why it bothered us greatly that NBC’s “Today” show chose to talk to Kris Jenner about her recent breast implant surgery rather than airing a moment of silence to mark the time when the first plane struck the World Trade Center 11 years ago.   Ordinarily, we would be excited to see a successful breast implant surgery getting national attention, but not this time.   To us, the interview just felt out of place.

We wish NBC would have observed the moment of silence and found a different time to interview Kim Kardashian’s mother about her new breasts.  In our opinion, that would have been the right thing to do.
