At the end of July, The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery created an infographic about breast implants that we found very relevant to those considering Houston breast implants. Specifically, it shows the history of breast implants, who gets them, and the most common reasons women undergo the cosmetic surgery procedure.
What this Houston plastic surgery provider found most fascinating were the top reasons women listed for getting breast implants. Here they are:
- 91% of women said they got breast implants to look better naked
- 84% of women said they got breast implants to look better in clothes and/or to have larger breasts
- 81% of women said they got breast implants to feel better about themselves.
- 79% of women said they got breast implants to feel more confident
- 74% of women said they got breast implants to feel less self-conscious
