When people in Houston come to us for a face lift or any other type of cosmetic surgery, they each have their own individual motivation for going under the knife. Some may be doing it because they can’t stand the way their face looks in the mirror. Others may be doing it at the request of a significant other. Some may be doing it because people are giving them grief about the way their face looks. One British woman falls into the latter category: she has spent $70,000 on cosmetic surgery because of bullying that occurred during her childhood.
According to the woman, the teasing started when she was about 12 years ago, and it was so painful, that by age 13, she was getting her education by homeschooling. Nobody should have to endure that. Therefore, it makes us happy to hear that getting cosmetic surgery enabled her to feel that they way she looked on the outside finally matched the way she felt about herself on the inside.
